Sample image generation is a crucial step in the WrenchML workflow. It allows you to:

• Preview defect appearance before committing to a full dataset
• Validate your configuration settings to ensure they produce realistic results
• Adjust parameters iteratively until you achieve the desired outcome
• Save time by ensuring your full dataset will meet your requirements

Generating Your First Samples

Prerequisite Steps

Before generating sample images, you should have:

1. Uploaded your CAD model
2. Configured your physical properties (material, color, lens type, background)
3. Set up your defect parameters (types, weights, and specific settings)

Generation Process

1. On the dataset configuration page, click the "Generate Examples" button
2. The system will display a loading indicator while your samples are being created
3. This process typically takes 1-3 minutes depending on the complexity of your model
4. Once complete, five sample images will appear below your 3D model preview
